Our students encounter instrument flying conditions in the air, not in a simulator, and that’s something that flight schools in sunny climates simply can’t provide.
For our helicopter students, adventure awaits at our Troutdale campus on the edge of the spectacular Columbia River Gorge. Students get the chance to practice off-airport landings on public lands in a stunning forested landscape, but the opportunity to land on an urban helipad in the busy Portland airspace is equally accessible. It truly is the best of both worlds.
