Wathun is an international student who grew up dreaming of becoming an airline pilot. When he was ready to begin training, he researched flight academies in the United States that could put him on the best path for success. He selected Hillsboro Aero Academy because of the school's ability to offer the F-1 Visa which enables a student to work as a pilot building valuable flight hours upon completion of their training and also because of the school's location in the northwestern part of the United States that allows pilots to flying in actual instrument conditions and hone their skills. Wathun also values the close relationship he has with his instructor and feels that his instructor's support is one of the keys to his success.
