Emma joined Hillsboro Aero Academy in 2017 as a Certified Flight Instructor. She was drawn to HAA because of the academy's emphasis on safety and use of a Safety Management System, a system widely used and respected by the airline industry. Hillsboro Aero Academy also gave her the chance to build valuable instrument time and get experience flying in the clouds in a training environment. Both of these elements will help prepare Emma for the next step in her career. However it's the community at HAA that Emma feels strongly about. As she says, "The people make this place." HAA provided her an opportunity to build her skills and knowledge in an environment where she felt supported as part of the community at HAA. A community where people are focused on fulfilling their aviation goals and dreams.
