Hillsboro Heli Academy just finalized a career pathway agreement with Sundance Helicopters.
Sundance Helicopters, based in Las Vegas, NV, is the most experienced experiential tourism company in the Las Vegas market and has served more than 4 million guests since 1985. Sundance offers a variety of tours to the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas Strip, Hoover Dam, as well as charter and custom tours for corporate, government, and social groups. The company has been awarded TripAdvisor’s “Certificate of Excellence” 7 years in a row (2011-2017) and was voted Las Vegas Review Journal’s “Best Helicopter Tours”, “Best Family Attraction”, and “Best Extreme Adventure” (2017).
This new agreement between Hillsboro Heli Academy and Sundance Helicopters provides a path for Hillsboro's flight instructors to apply and potentially work for Sundance gaining valuable Part 135 and turbine experience.
Once a student is hired by Hillsboro Heli Academy to work as a flight instructor, they can apply for the Pathway Program with Sundance. If accepted into the program, they will have a guaranteed interview with Sundance when they reach 1,000 hours.
